From the Straniger Alm we crossed the Austro-Italian border and drove down the military roads, mostly paved to Paularo, took the SP 23 to Zuglio, crossed the River and went on the SP21 to Tolmezzo. From there we took the bike trail along the SR512 to Carnia and then to Venzone. Beautiful little town and great food. Then we hit the road SS13 to Osoppa, where we crossed to the Via Tagliamento. Via Maiano we finally arrived in San Daniele and had wonderful ham with Refosco.
